Reading grid timetables
How to read and interpret grid timetables if you choose to use them for your Programme, Unit and Staff timetables.
If you prefer to look at your timetables in a basic fixed grid format, you can do so for your Programme, Unit and Staff timetables. We also have Room Timetables available.
Where an activity is scheduled, it will show an individual cell in blue within the grid timetable. All cells display the activity name on the top line, the allocated room(s) on the second line and scheduled week numbers on the third line. Week numbers are laid out in the Academic Year Chart
As timetables can change, any timetables you may have printed will quickly become out-of-date. Use MyTimetable for up-to-date timetables.
