Through space-based communication research we’ve influenced public policy and security. Our algorithms help keep GPS systems functioning and accurate.
We are a lively research community of academics, researchers and postgraduates, including Honorary Professors from leading UK industry. We engage in interdisciplinary research, receive significant external research funding and collaborate with leading national and international research groups. We have strong collaborations with the Met Office and the British Antarctic Survey.
