If you’re thinking about applying to university, or have a child who is about to, then our Wessex Inspiration Network team has developed a series of new resources to help you navigate higher education and make decisions - especially while you may not have full access to school’s careers advisors.

The new Wessex Inspiration Network website gives students, parents, carers and teachers a wealth of information all in one place to assist in the journey into Higher Education.

Colin Mather, Manager of the Wessex Inspiration Network, said: “The transition from school to university can be a really challenging time for families, and more so right now than ever before. Parents, carers and young people already juggling homeschooling are not as able to access school-based resources to assist in choosing a university, preparing students for higher education or completing application forms.

“To support them through this time, we’ve completely transformed our online offering. Our website now contains all of the resources that you might need in the journey to applying for a place at University, from understanding the finances, entry requirements, course options and different institutions, through to getting a taste of university life and thinking about routes into different careers at the end of it all.”

The new website has just been launched, and the Wessex Inspiration Network team is running a competition through which you can win a £50 Amazon voucher every week until the end of July. To find out more and to enter, see the full competition details here.
