Vice-Chancellor & President, Professor Ian White, commented:

It is a credit to our excellent students and staff that Bath is back in the top 10 and is the region’s highest performing university for a fourth consecutive year.

It is particularly pleasing that such a high number of subjects are ranked as being in the top 10 in the UK, and that the disciplines of Architecture and Marketing are recognised as the best in the country once again.

This reinforces what we already know in our community: that the University of Bath is a wonderful place to study, teach and research.

The ten criteria the Complete University Guide table uses to assess a university’s overall performance are: Entry Standards; Student Satisfaction; Research Quality; Research Intensity; Graduate Prospects; Student: Staff Ratio; Spending on Academic Services; Spending on Student Facilities; Good Honours Degrees; and Degree Completion.
