The University of Bath has placed eight in the Times Higher Education (THE) ‘Table of Tables’, a comparison of how well the UK’s top universities perform in major national league tables.

The table is compiled to show how universities are rated across the UK’s three major surveys: The Good University Guide (compiled by The Times and The Sunday Times), The Guardian University Guide and The Complete University Guide.

Points are awarded to each institution corresponding to its position in each survey (30 points for first place, 29 for second and so on).

Bath is currently rated 6th best in the UK in the Guardian University Guide, and 9th in both The Good University Guide and the Complete University Guide.

Cambridge tops the table, while Oxford, St Andrews, LSE and Durham complete the top five.
