On 11 September 2019, the International Centre for Higher Education Management (ICHEM) and the School of Management hosted a one-day study visit for 28 senior managers from 20 universities in Thailand. The visit was funded by the British Council and led by Professor Panaros Malakulnaayudhya, Chulalongkorn University.

The delegation was welcomed by Vice-President, Professor Steve Egan. Professor Rajani Naidoo, Director of ICHEM, and the team presented various higher education management programmes provided by ICHEM and the School of Management.

Dr Hong Bui ran a session called 'Innovate in higher education to enhance graduate employability', which was highly appreciated by the delegation.

Dr Peter Nuttall, Director of Internationalisation in the School of Management said: 'The ASEAN region has significant and growing interest for the School and the University. Hosting such a prestigious and broad delegation from Thailand was a great opportunity to learn more about the challenges and developments facing the higher education sector within the country and across the region.'

We hope this visit will open up more collaborations between the University and Thai universities.
