When requesting help with IT problems or telephony, it's always good to be able to get the help you need, from the right DDaT team, as quickly as possible.

Following on from positive user testing throughout the University community, the DDaT, 'Computing and Telephony' tile is getting a new look.

From Monday 3 August when you log onto the self-help portal and click on the 'Computing and Telephony' tile, you will see a number of different categories. When you select a category, you will be taken to a screen with handy guides to help you, or to a form for you to fill in. The information you give us in the form helps us to refer your enquiry to the right people to assist you. The categories you can choose from are:

  • My devices
  • Network/ WiFi
  • Email and Telephony
  • Software
  • Storage
  • Accounts and Access

There's also an option to search for an answer yourself, using our knowledgebase of self-help articles and a general form, if your category isn't listed.

We hope this new design will make it easier for you to access help and support when you need it.
