PAL is an academic and placement support scheme where trained students become leaders to facilitate learning for students in lower years. Ian has set up two PAL programmes in the Department of Psychology. Both schemes were nominated and shortlisted for the Peer Assisted Learning scheme of the year (2016/17). This is a tribute to the hard work, dedication and time put into the schemes by the PAL leaders.
Ian is a Teaching Fellow and Deputy Director of Undergraduate Studies (Pastoral). As part of his role, he coordinates the undergraduate dissertations and is also responsible for coordinating the department’s personal tutee system.
