You may notice a new prompt when macOS updates are available. This is designed to ensure that University-managed Macs install the latest macOS security releases in a timely manner, whilst allowing you the flexibility to choose when these updates are installed.
You will be notified of pending updates, once-per-day and will have the opportunity to either 'Install Now' or you may defer the installation for up to 7 days, by selecting 'Cancel'.
