Join us from 5pm on Friday 10 June for a variety of creative drop-in workshops, live performances, stalls and drag queen bingo. The afternoon will provide a chance to network and show support for the LGBT+ community at Bath, while having a lot of fun.

Held on Chancellors’ Green, please bring along your own food and drinks.

Afternoon agenda

  • 17:00 - Stalls open. There will be:
    • Local queer owned businesses
    • Organisations that support LGBT+ people in Bath
    • Drop-in activities such as face painting
    • University services and LGBT+ groups
  • 18:15 - Speeches from:
    • Blake Walker, Chair of the Pride Committee
    • Rajani Naidoo, Vice President (Community and Inclusion)
    • Cassie Wilson, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student Experience)
  • 18:30 - Performances:
    • Local drag performers
  • 20:00 - End

Events at The Edge

There will also be two additional activities taking place in The Edge on campus:

  • The Queer Regency Tea from 4:30 to 5:45pm is a history talkshop hosted by Sheldon K Goodman. Enjoy a queer Bridgeton afternoon with tea, cake and details of all the queer goings on in the Regency era
  • The Out on the Page writing workshop is your chance to get creative in fiction or poetry, from 4:00 to 5:00pm.
