New Service - Display Sharing with ViVi

Over the summer, the AV team put in several new technologies across GTA spaces on campus to improve experiences. Learn about ViVi - the display sharing service.

The ViVi is a small box that allows any member of the University community to send content from their own device to the screen wirelessly. There’s no complicated setup to go through – just a small app to install on your own device.

It works with (we’ve tested all of these!):

Android
Apple IOS
Mac OS
Windows
Linux

It gives the ability to:

Fully screen mirror your device onto the projector or big screen – which means you can present and walk around
Screen capture (to your own device) and annotate it. The students can also do this to their own device whilst they connect to it
Share a link to the whole group
Capture feedback from the class in real time

Currently, the ViVi units are just in the GTA spaces.
