We are excited to announce that the University will be awarding 40 International PGR scholarships each year per Faculty/School (up to 160) to ensure that we continue to attract a diverse and high quality cohort of PGR students.

Awards to students will be determined within the Faculties/School and are for students who can demonstrate excellence in achievement. A student who is awarded a scholarship will be charged a reduced international fee of £10,800 annually (pro-rata). This fee will be subject to an annual increase, the reduced fee will apply for a maximum of 3.5 years. Applicants should state that they are applying for a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Professor Ian White, Vice-Chancellor & President, said: "I am delighted to announce our new Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Post Graduate Students. These scholarships will ensure that we continue to attract a diverse and high quality cohort of PGR students who will actively contribute to our research power. The new scholarships will also help us deliver against our University Strategy pillars, in relation to driving high impact research and fostering an outstanding and inclusive community."
