The operational teams in our hospitality, retail, accommodation and campus services are facing extra challenges with the higher number of staff off work due to Covid. Some shops and food outlets on campus are being forced to amend their opening hours and change the services on offer. The teams are also facing issues with supply, which is threating the stock levels too.
Please be kind to the staff working and be sympathetic if outlets are closed or low on stock. Despite the challenges, all our teams are working incredibly hard to provide the best service possible. We can all show our appreciation to the staff who are working long hours, including early starts, late finishes, and at weekends.
