Taking steps to look after your own mental wellbeing, and that of your staff if you are a manager/supervisor, makes a big difference. The positive impact that changes can have on the wellbeing of individuals, departments and the University as a whole can be significant.

As with many workplace concerns, a proactive approach is far more effective, and prevention is always better than cure. Enabling staff to discuss mental wellbeing in the workplace and providing access to support is fundamental to helping people flourish and grow.

Why not join your colleagues in virtual or on-campus workshops to learn more about ways to manage our Mental Health and Wellbeing. Workshops available include:

  • Managing Mental Wellbeing at Work
  • Conversations about Suicide
  • Resilience and Wellbeing

Offering you the opportunity to engage in training and development about Mental Health and Wellbeing is just one of the initiatives that is been driven by the engagement with the Mental Health Charter.
