EQUIS (the European Foundation for Management Development’s Quality Improvement System) has reaccredited the School of Management for a further five years.

EQUIS accreditation is the most comprehensive institutional accreditation system for business and management schools. It is acknowledged worldwide by potential students, faculty, employers, corporate clients and the media, often being a pre-requisite for entry to rankings. Five-year accreditation is the maximum time for which a School can be accredited and represents the highest level of achievement.

Professor Steve Brammer, Dean of the School of Management, said:

“I’m profoundly grateful for the contributions of all our fantastic staff, students, alumni, and partners to our five-year EQUIS reaccreditation. In many ways, five-year EQUIS accreditation is the gold standard for schools of business and management, and earning reaccreditation reflects the ongoing success and achievement of our community, as well as confidence in our future trajectory.”

Professor Ian White, Vice-Chancellor and President, said:

“I pay great tribute to the members of the School of Management for this wonderful achievement in securing continued accreditation for five years.

"This comes at an exciting time for the School given the construction of a new building due to be completed by the end of the year. Aligned with the strategy of the University to grow its international reputation in the coming years, the EQUIS re-accreditation will enhance the opportunities for the School going forward.”
