The U2 First Bus service has finished for the rest of the semester, as this timetable only operates during teaching. The U1 bus is still running to its full timetable every 15 minutes, and runs from the city centre through Oldfield Park to campus.
First Bus will be closely monitoring the passenger demand and will provide additional buses, if required.
The University has given First details about the exams in May, with the numbers of students attending and at what times. They will have additional buses in the Oldfield Park area from 7.30am to 9.30am on Monday 16 May to add extra capacity and help to ensure all students are able to attend campus in time for their exams. You should still allow plenty of time for your journey, in case of unexpected issues with traffic.
The Security team on campus are also waiving parking charges for the exam period, to help students who have to be on campus for in-person exams starting at either 9.30am. You can drive or car share with others - permits won't be needed. Please allow plenty of time for your journey in case of issues with traffic in the city.
