Due to user feedback, we will be changing the default behaviour of UniApps when you open a desktop session to use a single monitor from Wednesday 18 August.
What this means for you
Currently the default behaviour when you open a desktop session from our UniApps service is for the desktop session to use all (multiple) available monitors.
This change would not prevent users from selecting to use multiple monitors if they wish to do so. We hope that it will make it easier for users to switch between monitors when using local resources, creating a more enjoyable UniApps experience.
Please note that this change should not affect the functionality of UniApps and after the change is made, users will see the difference when they log into the service.
How to change to a multi-monitor view
- Open Remote Desktop app (show options)
- open the connection .rdp file
- change settings in Display to use all monitors.
