UniApps lets you access your files, use a range of academic software and send items to print on campus, from your personal devices with internet access.

When you sign in to UniApps via your web browser and connect to a Remote Desktop, a .rdp file is downloaded. A .rdp file contains settings, configuration options and the latest security certificate.

What's changing

The UniApps security certificates are expiring soon and will be replaced on Tuesday 16 August. Expiry naturally happens each year.

What you need to do

If you access UniApps via your web browser and are using old .rdp files, you will need to download new .rdp files from the UniApps website, which contain the latest security certificates.

If you continue to use old .rpd files following Tuesday 16 August, you will receive certificate errors and will be unable to connect to desktops on the RD Web Access service.
