What the Enterprise Adviser role entails

As an Enterprise Adviser, you'll work directly with a school or college's career lead to support them in developing their careers programme.

Combine your passion for raising the aspirations of young people with your strategic skills to help put opportunities with local employers at the heart of a young person's education.

What an Enterprise Adviser does

  • Provides an employer's perspective
  • Supports the school or college's senior leadership team
  • Engages with local businesses and employers in your network
  • Helps schools and colleges to focus efforts

Who can take on the role

  • Anybody who feels they have something to add
  • Anyone dedicated to making a lasting impact on the future outcomes of young people
  • Someone who can commit to around eight hours per month for one academic year
