MOOCs are free and flexible courses that can be taken by anyone from anywhere in the world.

The Centre of Learning & Teaching provides advice and support to academic, teaching and professional service staff who would like to produce a MOOC.

You can find free online guidance and advice about creating a MOOC by visiting our Learning & Teaching Hub. Our guide includes advice on when to develop a MOOC, considerations for learning and teaching, issues of which you should be aware, and links to further free online resources.

If you have an idea for a course topic and would like to produce a MOOC, please submit an initial proposal to the TEL team in the Centre for Learning & Teaching. We will be able to provide advice and guidance about producing your MOOC and the costs involved.

The University of Bath is a member of the FutureLearn partnership, which includes some of the best UK and international universities, as well as institutions with a huge archive of cultural and educational material.
