EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security (TIPS-at-scale) funding

New doctoral students in management may be eligible for funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council CDT in Cyber Security.

Based at the University of Bristol and the University of Bath, the Centre for Doctoral Training offers a unique interdisciplinary PhD programme: resolving the trust, identity, privacy and security issues for large-scale infrastructure (TIPS-at-scale) and protecting our everyday services such as water, power, transportation and manufacturing.

You could receive funding for up to four years. This includes:

  • Home tuition fees
  • research and travel allowance
  • maintenance stipend of £18,622 each year (2023/24 rate)

You can apply for this award if you are a Home or International student, however, in line with guidance from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the number of awards available to International students will be limited to 30% of the total.
