International students

Very limited opportunities may be available for academically excellent international students to receive an award. Given the highly competitive nature of these awards, international candidates are advised to discuss opportunities with their intended Bath supervisor before applying.

How to apply

Find out how to apply for URSA funding. You will need to follow a different process depending on which Faculty or School runs the PhD programme for which you wish to apply.

In all cases, when completing the application form, you must select ‘University of Bath URSA’ from the drop-down menu in the ‘Funding your studies’ section. If you do not follow this instruction, there will be a delay with the processing of your application which may cause you to miss the deadline.
