Ambition to work with sports teams

'I chose to do the MSc as I hoped it would develop my interest in musculoskeletal medicine. I also hoped it would provide a basis where I could start to work more regularly with sports teams, having had no previous experience in a sporting environment. I really want to develop sports and exercise medicine as my speciality.'

'After the MSc I hope to work in more specific sports injury clinics and potentially in a professional/elite sports environment.'

Helping the day job

'Working as a GP, the MSc has helped my day job by improving my clinical examination skills and given me deeper knowledge so I can explain to patients in greater detail the causes of conditions they present and provide better management plans.'

Residential weeks on campus

'The breadth of the subject and variety of areas studied has been fascinating. I particularly enjoyed the residential week and seeing the practical implications of the theory we have learned.'
