BP are offering an award of £1000 to female students who would like to develop their personal and professional skills or awareness of positive role models in engineering. To support this the BP Women in Engineering Award will fund:
- conferences
- workshops
- other personal and professional development opportunities
- volunteering initiatives
- outreach opportunities
- opportunities to build awareness of positive role models in engineering
Applications are welcome from undergraduate female Engineering students up to the penultimate year of study.
Applicants can apply individually or as part of a group. If a group is successful there is only one prize awarded, which will be split evenly between eligible members to support a project.
Successful applicants will need to produce a short report and/or presentation outlining what they did to send/present to BP.
