How the Student Marketing team can support you

The Student Marketing team manages student recruitment marketing across the University and provides staff with guidance on marketing to prospective students.

Student recruitment marketing

We lead on institution-wide campaigns such as the prospectus, Open Days (onsite and virtual) and Clearing.

We can also advise you on your student recruitment marketing plans and help you find the best way to turn interested students into applicants, offer holders and then students.

We purchase online advertising to promote the University to prospective students and manage University profiles on affiliate sites, such as the Complete University Guide.

We are responsible for the student recruitment content on the website and all pre-applicant email communications.

CRM support and digital tools

We manage the customer relationship management (CRM) system the University uses to communicate with prospective students. This includes our outbound email, chat, enquiry management, lead capture and event-booking tools.

Please contact the team about email communications plans for prospective students; how to input the data you collect into CRM; and for any training requirements or questions about the system.

In addition to the CRM, we also manage other digital products that support student recruitment, including our virtual tool used for online events.

Undergraduate prospectus and other publications

We manage a number of publications for prospective students.

  • Undergraduate prospectus and mini guide
  • Postgraduate prospectus
  • About Bath - key facts about the University
  • Visitors' Guide - map and self-guided tour of our campus
  • Choose Bath - a University publication for offer holders

Contact us to request a copy of these publications, give feedback and to find out our publishing schedule.

Guidelines

We provide guidelines for teams to use, for example on complying with Competition and Markets Authority regulations (CMA).

We also run regular working groups for marketing teams and practitioners, including our Video Working Group.
