Find your username and email
When you registered at the University you will have been given a username and chosen a password. You will need these to access IT services and systems:
- your username is on your library card. It will be a combination of letters and numbers, for example, abc123
- your email address will then be username@bath.ac.uk, for example, abc123@bath.ac.uk
- if you have forgotten your password or want to change it follow our guide on how to change or reset your University password
- you are requested to set up Multi-Factor Authentication on your account, which provides an extra layer of protection on Microsoft 365 applications and the University of Bath VPN

The University's free Wi-Fi service for students is called eduroam. You will be able to connect to eduroam Wi-Fi at universities across the UK and abroad.
