Sharing a project or activity at the Public Engagement Showcase

How to submit an application to share your public engagement projects and activities with the rest of the University and external visitors.

About the Showcase

The Public Engagement Showcase is part of Engage: Public Engagement in Practice 2021, the University's celebration of public engagement organised by the Public Engagement Unit.

The Public Engagement Showcase is a chance for you to share your public engagement projects and activities with the rest of the University and external visitors.

We want to celebrate the diversity of public engagement activities that are happening across the University, so we are looking for examples that cover all forms of public engagement at any scale or stage.

The Showcase will take place at our event Engage: Public Engagement in Practice 2021 on Friday 21 May 2021 from 13:00 – 14:00.

We expect Showcase applicants to attend Engage: Public Engagement in Practice from 13.00 – 14.00 so you can be available to answer any questions from attendees about your project.

Engage: Public Engagement in Practice will be hosted through the online events platform Hopin. As part of the event, we will have an expo area where the Public Engagement Showcase will be hosted. This area will be broken up into ‘Booths’ which will each contain an engagement project.

Deadline for submissions is Friday 30 April at 5pm.
