Role

The Widening Participation (WP) team organizes outreach events and collaborates with schools, colleges and others to help students from all backgrounds learn more about their options. The programme of events is aimed at under-represented students to encourage and support them to consider higher education as an option.

Sam works closely alongside the Campus Events Team on various activities such as campus visits and taster days.

Sam also works alongside the WP Research and Evaluation Officer collating and inputting student data onto the Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) which helps higher education institutions (HEIs) in England track students that have taken part in outreach activities in schools and colleges, through to their achievement in higher education.
