Role
Corinne joined the University of Bath as the Head of Communications in 2016 and became Director of Communications in 2019.
She works with her team to support the University's strategy through effective communications and engagement activities. These enhance the University's national and international reputation and student and staff experience.
Her key areas of focus are:
- enhancing the University’s reputation for world-class research, generating compelling coverage on media and social media
- building stronger staff engagement through effective internal communications
- supporting the University's student recruitment efforts and the delivery of an outstanding student experience through positive coverage in traditional media and online
Career
Previously, Corinne was Head of Media and External Relations at the British Red Cross following a 15-year career in the third sector working for humanitarian, environmental and animal welfare charities. Having started her career in government relations, she has a particular interest in merging communications disciplines into beautifully integrated campaigns.
Education
Corinne has a politics degree from the University of Nottingham. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
