Member of the doctoral coaching network.

Career

My current role is Lecturer in Public Health within the Department for Health. As part of this role I do research into physical activity, obesity stigma, adolescent wellbeing, and public health. Alongside this, I teach and tutor students on the BSc Health and Exercise Science and DHealth Professional Doctorate in Health programmes, as well as being the Admissions Tutor for the Health and Exercise Science course. I also supervise several PhD and DHealth students from a range of disciplines.

Previously I held research positions at the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England, after studying for my PhD at the University of Exeter. I am particularly interested in coaching people how to navigate difficult conversations and around professional and personal development.
