Career

I currently work as a Placements Manager, leading a team who support Engineering and Architecture students into work placements as part of their course. Previously I was Placement Officer for Language students at the University. Through these experiences I am able to provide coaching on employability skills and transition to the workplace either in the UK or internationally as well as presentation and time management skills.

I have worked with students with a diverse range of disabilities and backgrounds and very much enjoy this. Prior to working in Placements I worked in the Development and Alumni Relations team at the University and worked in sales, recruitment and management for a private tuition company. I am originally an alumna of the BA Modern Languages and European Studies, French and German at the University and my first roles were teaching English in Germany and China and then Foreign Languages in the UK.
