Role

I have worked in IT for over 25 years as a developer and in project and service management. I've also worked as a coach and mentor for colleagues to help develop their personal and professional skills. In a previous job, I was part of the Mental Health Champion network and I'm a member of the Wellbeing Team for an organisation where I work as a volunteer.

Wellbeing statement

Everyone needs to be able to talk about the challenges they face without fear of stigma or ridicule, and I want to be an active part of allowing those conversations to happen in a supportive environment.

Interests

I love to watch movies and read books (sci-fi, fantasy, action and comedy) and I play the flute. I work for the Royal Life Saving Society training young people in first aid, water safety and water rescue skills. I also help organise and run an annual camping holiday for people with disabilities.
