Our research work has benefits for environmental and healthcare applications.

Our research is focused on the development of tools and methods to characterise complex chemical mixtures and detect molecules selectively. These methods can be used for monitoring the progress of chemical reactions (in situ and ex situ), testing water quality and in exposure studies. The electrochemical sensors and biosensors we develop are used in environmental and healthcare applications.

Research keywords: Spectroscopy, in operando, chemical reaction monitoring, detection of specific molecules, characterisation, identification and quantification, water.
