Assessors and advisers are normally the same people. Assessors will support staff as advisers in their own department and assess applications from other departments, schools or areas.

Assessors and advisers need to:

• be at least a HEA Fellow
• attend annual assessor training
  
• be willing and available to commit to at least two out of three assessment periods per year.
