This policy applies to all electrical installations and equipment owned, managed or operated by the University. Equipment owned by members of staff, students (including personal equipment used in residential accommodation), visitors or contractors does not fall within the scope of this policy.

The policy was agreed by UHSC in September 2023. The next scheduled review is September 2025.
