  • Academic Assembly

    Academic Assembly is the statutory body representing academic staff in the governance structure of the University.

  • Academic Programmes Committee

    Responsible to Senate for development of the Unviersity's portfolio of programmes and collaborative provision in accordance with the University Strategy.

  • Academic Staff Committee

    The Academic Staff Committee makes decisions on behalf of Senate relating to the appointment and progression of staff in the Education and Research job family.

  • Audit and Risk Assurance Committee

    The committee is responsible to Council for reviewing the effectiveness of arrangements for internal control, risk management, governance and value for money.

  • Awards Committee

    The Awards committee considers nominations for several awards, which recognise significant contributions by staff of the university.

  • Blues Committee

    The University Blues Committee recognises outstanding sporting achievements by the award of Blues, Half-Blues, Colours, Ribbons and Special Awards.

  • Board of Studies (Doctoral)

    Make decisions regarding progression of doctoral studentships on the recommendation of Boards of Examiners, under delegated powers from Senate.

  • Chancellor's Prize Committee

    The committee awards the annual Chancellor's Prize for the best final year undergraduate student, made possible through the generosity of Lord Kearton.
