Advancing Research Computing Team
We support the use of Research Computing for all Departments and Faculties across the University.
The Advancing Research Computing team provides an innovative and engaging community-orientated, computational environment to help nurture research talent. To assist our researchers throughout the research lifecycle, we focus on:
- providing a range of support and consultancy services as well as providing training courses, working collaboratively, and promoting and sharing best practices with the research community
- managing the University's central High Performance Computing (HPC) service and helping our researchers process and analyse very large data sets, and perform complex computational tasks
- promoting and supporting the development of reproducible research and sustainable software practices through collaborations with Research Software Engineers
- assisting in the development and costing of research projects
