Committee on the Office of Chancellor
We are responsible for making recommendations about the appointment of the Chancellor.
We are a Joint Committee of Council and Senate. We're responsible for making recommendations to Court via Council and Senate about the appointment of the Chancellor of the University.
It's normal practice for the Vice-Chancellor to make an oral report to Senate and Council before appointment by Court.
The terms of office expire on 31 July in the year stated.
