The Public Engagement Unit - to delete
We promote a culture of engaged research throughout the University. We support researchers to involve non-academics with their research.
We believe that public engagement with research improves:
- research quality
- research impact
- research visibility
Our responsibilities to the University and our researchers include making sure that:
- there is proper reward and recognition for engaged research
- the University has a wide range of professional development opportunities for researchers
- there are University-wide opportunities for public engagement activities for all researchers
- higher-level research and teaching strategies recognise and enable engaged practice
