Welcome

The Bath University Venturers Cricket Club provides cricket for staff and postgraduates who are connected with the University of Bath in any official capacity. New players of any ability are always welcome: we are always looking for new players who can spare weekends and evenings for a game over the summer months.


2012 Fixtures: The Fixture list for the 2012 season is now available.


New members: most communication within the club is by email. To join the Venturers email list, please send an email to Alex Cox, who will add you to the mailing list.


Nets: Nets will start again for the 2012 season on Monday the 27th February, from 3-4.30pm in the Founders' Hall. Subsequent sessions will be on 12th, 19th & 26th March, and 2nd, 16th & 23rd April 2012. Please bring along £2 for the session. All Welcome.

On 3rd of July, the Venturers retained our title in the quadrangular Twenty20 tournament. This victory was covered in the University of Bath web site.

The meeting was held on Thursday September 8th, 2011.

Detailed statistics were kept for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Here is the spreadsheet for the 2009 season. The end of season highlights, including (hopefully) all batters who scored over 200 runs and all bowlers who took at least 4 wickets, is available in excel or gif formats.
