New money available for EPSRC funded research

Is your research funded by EPSRC? Have you ever received EPSRC funding? If so, then the University of Bath's Knowledge Transfer Account (KTA) is for you!

The University of Bath has been awarded over £3 million to spend over the next three years, to maximise the economic, financial or social impact of EPSRC funded research. Any EPSRC projects (past and current) might be eligible for support:

The KTA will provide funds for:

  • Partnership Development Awards: to enable you to develop CPD (training modules), commercialisation and experimental development with end users
  • KT Fellowships: to buy-in expertise or for you to spend time with industrial partners/end users
  • KT Mentors: successful entrepreneurs to mentor you and other members of Project Exploitation Teams to enable an effective route to exploitation
  • KT Champions: an academic mentor from within the University, successful in the transfer of knowledge arising from research to business
  • Proof of Concept projects: to prove high impact potential and commercial viability of concepts

 We anticipate delivering:

  • The adoption of new products/processes/policies
  • New enterprises
  • Leveraging substantial additional industrial funding
