Statutes, Ordinances & Regulations of the University - revised with effect from 1 August 2009

The Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations of the University have been reviewed during the past year by Council and Senate. The main purpose of this review has been to:

  • verify that their provision and content remains relevant/appropriate and revise where necessary;
  • verify that content is appropriately located in the Statutes / Ordinances / Regulations / Standing Orders of the University and transfer content where appropriate;
  • identify enhancement of wording/terminology and procedural improvement where necessary.

In addition, new editions of the Charter and Statutes Booklet and the 2009 Regulations Booklet are being circulated to those who normally receive them.

Those with overall responsibility for the activities affected by the amendments to the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations will also be advised of these amendments by email.
