Changes in Finance Office and Purchasing Services Office

There have been a number of changes in the Finance Office and the Purchasing Services Office to recognise the close relationship between the two functions.

The role of Diane Aderyn, Director of Finance, has been expanded as part of the adjustment of the senior management team portfolios following the arrival of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Internationalisation) and the Director of Marketing and Communications.

With effect from 1 August 2012, her new title is Director of Finance & Commercial Services.

Martin Williams now has responsibility for all of the Finance Office functions and the University’s procurement activities in the new role of Chief Financial Officer. The name of the new unit is Finance & Procurement.

Following the resignation of the Head of Purchasing Services, the University is recruiting a Head of Procurement to be responsible for both the Purchasing Services Office and Payments Office teams.

The new organisation structure can be found on the Finance & Procurement website.
