Vacancy: Associate Dean Faculty of Engineering & Design

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Engineering and Design from 1 February 2014, or as soon as possible thereafter, for two years and half years in the first instance (with re-appointment subject to a review of performance).

The person appointed will have the opportunity to take forward the work started by Professor Julian Chaudhuri.

The successful candidate will be expected and supported to undertake professional development in leadership and management including a detailed induction to the role.

Anyone interested in developing the leadership and management aspect of their academic practice, but unsure about taking on an Associate Dean role, is encouraged to contact Gary Hawley, Dean of Engineering and Design, for an informal discussion.
