Chinese Intermediate
Welcome to Cambridge University Chinese Intermediate Language Programme.
This online material is function-based and presented through themes. Each theme is based on 3 or 4 audio dialogues. Comprehension of each dialogue is supported by just-in-time resources including vocabulary help, transcript (in Chinese characters with optional pinyin access), translation, succinct language notes, and comprehension activities. Each unit also offers cultural background notes, language functions, grammar notes (with activities), a variety of practice activities, reading material (with activities) and a self-test to help learners evaluate their progress.
The Chinese CULP Intermediate programme has been developed by the Language Centre (Credits) for use by the University of Cambridge students and other Chinese learners. We have tried to make navigating the programme as simple and intuitive as possible. For an overview of the programme see the Guide. All audio material has been recorded and produced in-house.
