Description: Aims:
To bring together the knowledge and ability developed in previous units, and apply them to a engineering design problem of moderate complexity.

Learning Outcomes:
The successful student will be able to demonstrate an ability to carry out the detailed engineering design of a small project.

Skills:
Drawing, analytical, and written and oral presentation skills.

Content:
Individual design project work, following on from work done in Project C3A.
All critical aspects of the design should be fully supported by calculations as appropriate.
Students on the MEng programme may be able to undertake this work while based in industry, with the approval of the Director of Studies.
