Description: Aims:

Content:
This unit will include study of the legislation and regulations of the sector, including those related to storage and handling of information. The role of the Senior Practitioner will be examined and analysed. Leadership and management skills and styles will be explored and analysed, comparing settings, communities and cultures. The practitioner's own role and working relationships with other agencies and professionals will be examined in the context of principles, processes, and information. Management of self, resources and time will be examined. Continuous professional development will be a key concept of this unit.
