Description: Aims:
To consolidate and complement the theoretical content of the university units in chemical engineering with practical experience of industrial activity and practice in the process, bioprocess and related industries. To encourage self-development. To promote self-confidence.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this unit students should be able to understand the nature, process and challenges of industrial engineering practice.

Skills:
To normally include: Numeracy, literacy, problem solving, communication, and chemical engineering practice.

Content:
Work in an industrial environment.
