Description: Aims:
To provide students with the skills required to carry out and write up a critical review of a given technical subject in chemical engineering. These skills will be especially useful for later research and design projects.

Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this unit students should be able to acquire and critically review technical information on a chemical engineering subject, and produce a professional report of their findings.

Skills:
Acquisition and critical assessment of technical information in chemical engineering, and report writing. Taught/facilitated and assessed.

Content:
* Tutorial guidance on how to acquire and review technical information on a chemical engineering subject. Information will cover the background, current status, context and possible future developments of the subject.
* Tutorial guidance on how to prepare a professional report of a technical review.
