Description: | Aims: To identify and develop advanced level practice and learning skills in the context of appropriate professional frameworks. Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit participants will be able to: 1. Systematically and critically identify gaps in their own consultation and communication skills in line with the appropriate professional frameworks (professional skills, practical skills, key skills; taught, facilitated and assessed) 2. Undertake a series of self determined activities to develop advanced consultation and communication skills (intellectual skills, professional skills, practical skills, key skills; taught, facilitated and assessed) 3. Collect and critically evaluate a selection of evidence to demonstrate that the identified communication and consultation skills learning needs have been met (in line with the appropriate professional frameworks) (intellectual skills, practical skills, key skills; taught, facilitated and assessed) 4. Work in peer learning sets to review and develop communication and consultation skills goals and activities (professional skills,, key skills; taught and facilitated) 5.
